Free car seats or booster seats are available to qualifying families in our community.
• To qualify, you must have proof of Medicaid/WIC eligibility
• You must register for and complete the 2-hour class to receive a car seat or booster seat for your child.

Free Family Performance

Join us for a free performance of Five Little Monkeys at Clifton United Methodist Church based on the favorite children’s book by Eileen Christelow.
This production is a part of the Second Sunday Family Series through the Clifton Cultural Arts Center.

Bus transportation from MEAC is available to families who make a reservation in advance.

Cooking for the Family

This is the first of a free 5-week hands-on culinary program, in which neighbors can learn how to cook healthy and affordable meals for the family using fresh meat, grains, and produce.

Learn 8 basic cooking skills, create a full meal to enjoy in class, and get fresh produce to take home each class. Each recipe learned features a healthy meal that can feed a family of 4 for under $10!

Registration is required, so fill out the interest form and make sure you’re confirmed for the program before you arrive! You can drop completed forms off to Judy Gillens at MEAC or call St. Francis Seraph Ministries at 513.549.0542 for information or to register.

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a cooking kit, including a chef knife, cast iron skillet, knife sharpener, and a $10 produce perks card for free produce at select markets, as well as fresh vegetables to take home!

For this special program, MEAC is partnering with St. Francis Seraph Ministries, Produce Perks, FarmChef, Valley View Foundation, Healthy Harvest Mobile Market, and Artichoke.

Valentine's Day Party and Dinner

Join us for a Valentine’s Day dinner and party including treats and crafts for your little sweethearts!

Medicare Specialist Steve Winter will also provide an info table for the evening and a 3-minute explanation of the opportunities available to our neighbors.

Every Monday night in McCord Hall at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, volunteers from our community provide and serve a meal. If you’re interested in hosting a meal with your family, organization, or business team, contact Tracey at traceymckinney@meaccincinnati.org.
